With the discovery of the cave art of Altamira the discussion about the existence of Ice Age cave art began, which only decades later led to the acceptance of Altamira as an authentic example. Already in the entrance area the ceiling is covered in multicoloured paintings of bisons. But horses and deer were also painted and engraved. Style III/IV (19 000-11 500 BP)
