Additional Content

Fauna assemblage, layer 1: The poor bone preservation shows that the finds remained uncovered for a longer period before sedimentation. Few bones and fragments could be specified:
- horse, Equus sp. (n=22),
- rhinoceros, Coeldonta antiquitatis (n=1),
- red deer, Cervus elaphus (n=1),
and reindeer, Rangifer tarandus (n=3).
Mainly adult animals could be determined, and only 1 juvenile horse. No provable traces of human activities on the faunal remains.
