Additional Content

Roots were clearly widely splayed and it is likely that they were partially resorbed. Occlusal wear most evident on metacone and well-developed hypocone; dentin islands observable on two buccal cusps. Extensive, concave mesial interproximal wear facet measuring 5.8mm buccolingually; it also exposes dentin on mesial side of tooth. Distal interproximal facet present measuring 4.7mm buccolingually, indicating presence of first permanent molar behind this tooth. Extent of wear and nature of roots indicate that tooth was sloughed or about ready to be.
