Additional Content

NN 26, NN 27, NN 82: complete vertebra made up of three fragments;
- both sets of articular facets and vertebral arch present, but most medial portions of transverse processes are missing
- little abrasion of the margins, at least inferiorly
- spine is not bifid; it is abraded at the tip (postmortem damage); it measures 26.8mm and is 5.3mm wide; its angle is approximately 24°
- no evidence of degenerative joint changes
- specimen is smaller than NN 7 except for dorsoventral diameter of vertebral foramen and inferior transverse body diameter which are slightly larger in NN 26/27/82 -> possibility that both specimens (NN 7 and NN26/27/82) represent C5 and C6 of same individual, but fit of articular facets and body not precise enough.
